EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
The facility provides the following job opportunities:
Manager/Owner:
Certainly not for the weak of heart, the manager lives this
job. We prefer the manager be part owner but not required.
We have two facilities specifically in existence for the training
of managers.
Assistant Manager:
On the rare occasions when the manager takes a day off the
assistant fills the same duties as if he/she were there.
Referee's: The
more teams, the more games, the more ref'ing required by the
facility. Since two teams play at one time we have half the
amount of games as we have teams.
Scorekeeper/Assistant
Referee: Acts as second referee for things that happen behind
the field referee's line of sight. Checks player cards and
keeps administrative account of the game and rosters for the
teams.
Marketing: Normally
an additional person is on the phones in the evenings besides
the manager making phone calls to increase teams.
Each new employee
spends at least one day training with a more experienced employee,
preferably the manager before they are given any responsibility.
We keep a communications log to be read by the employees on
a daily basis and to assist in the transfer of knowledge.
